MC and Potent Funk CEO Dabbla is the hybrid rap don dadda.
The North London vibesman cut his teeth at legendary pirate radio stations Freeze FM and Rinse, before forming the prolific crews London Zoo and Dead Players (w/ Jam Baxter and GhostTown). Now cultivating “hybrid rap shit” at his label Potent Funk Records, Dabbla blows apart genres with a microphone.

His first solo LP Year of the Monkey landed on High Focus in 2016 and led to Dabbla being headhunted by Romesh Ranganathan to create exclusive music for his US TV series, Just Another Immigrant. The second instalment Death Moves was released two years later via Potent Funk, and featured the hefty single ‘Tweeters’ alongside Rag N Bone Man. He's most recent album Nobody landed in 2020 and he's preparing the next one set to drop in 2024.
